In-Service Training Course in German and English, in accordance with § 15 of the Genetic Engineering Safety Regulations

 

An in-service training course will be held again this year at the MPI of Biochemistry in Martinsried. General information on issues regarding biological safety will be provided, in accordance with § 15 para 4 sentence 1 GenTSV (target group: project leaders and representatives of biological safety).

 

We will be providing simultaneous interpretation into English via earphones for non-German-speaking participants.

 

The course will be carried out under the guidance of the course coordinator, Dr. Tatzel, who is also the representative for biological safety at the MPI of Biochemistry. Details on when and where the event will be held are as follows:

 

on 11 and 12 November 2010

at the MPI of Biochemistry, Martinsried

 

The course will begin on Thursday, 11 November 2010 at 8:00 am

 

The training course is recognised by the Government of Upper Bavaria under reference number 55.1 8791-03.2.40.

The course is free of charge for employees of the Max Planck Society and the public authorities who are involved in carrying out the procedures of authorization and supervision of genetic engineering laws (GenTG). The course fee is € 200 for external participants. This amount is to be paid in cash at the information desk at the beginning of the course on 11 November. The certificates of attendance will be handed out at the end of the course.

 

Lunch can be taken at our canteen. Participants are asked to look for their own accommodation (see list of hotels).
